Jeff Nickol is a partner in Clement, Crawford & Thornhill, Inc. With over 39 years of industrial real estate experience, Jeff has been involved in all aspects of industrial real estate to include development, acquisitions, investment, brokerage, transaction management, portfolio strategy, sale leasebacks, financing, M & A review, Build-to-Suit, and C-Suite reporting and review.

Jeff has been a managing member of numerous development partnerships where he shared responsibility for the acquisition, underwriting, construction, tenant build-out, financing and disposition of a portfolio of owned buildings totaling over 15 million SF in over 20 states. His partners have included Citimark, Pure Development, Principal Life, Mass Mutual, Cornerstone, Calsters, The Estate of James Campbell, and Calpers. Jeff has been involved as a development partner in one of Charleston’s largest speculative industrial developments which encompassed over 2.5 million square feet and 180 acres in Summerville, SC and was a partner in an acquisition and renovation that purchased and exited a 308,000 square foot infill industrial project located on Arco Lane and Goer Drive in North Charleston.

Jeff lives in downtown Charleston is married and has three children.

Keith Mayfield

Keith Mayfield joined Clement, Crawford & Thornhill in 2024 bringing his skills in negotiation, sales, management,  and both landlord and tenant representation. Keith has a focus on retail throughout the local Charleston market as well as experience working across South Carolina with national & regional retailers.  Keith demonstrates a strong track record in real estate having previous experience in residential sales as well as property management.

Keith is married to his lovely wife, Laurie and as a father of two, he enjoys coaching various sports through the City of Charleston Recreation Department, exploring the waterways of Charleston and going to the beach with his family.

Robert Clement

Robert L. Clement, III, a native of Charleston, SC, is a graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA, and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. For three years after college he worked for Royal Cup, Inc. in Birmingham, AL, and in Atlanta, GA before joining the commercial real estate firm of Laguarta, Gavrel & Kirk, Inc. in Houston, TX. Mr. Clement spent four years with the Houston firm before returning to Charleston where he joined the Max L. Hill Company, Inc., as Vice President and Manager of the Commercial Real Estate Division, a position he held for seven years.

In March of 1993, Mr. Clement helped form the full service real estate firm of Clement, Crawford & Thornhill, Inc., known as CC&T Real Estate Services, and serves as its President. He is a developer and principal in a number of large developments including the Bell South Telecommunication Regional Headquarters, the Macalloy Project, the Midtown Project and Laurel Island.

Mr. Clement is a past President of the South Carolina REALTORS®, 2007, the Trident Association of REALTORS®, 2002, and the Commercial Investment Division, 1995. He has been a Director of the National Association of REALTORS® since 2006, a position he also held in 2002.

Over the years, Mr. Clement has been recognized for his hard work in real estate as well as in the Charleston community. In 2009 he was presented the prestigious Omega Tau Rho Award by the National and South Carolina Association of REALTORS®. In 2005 he was the recipient of the Charleston March of Dimes Lowcountry Real Estate Award and in 2004 he received the prestigious C. Dan Joyner REALTOR® Community Service Award. In 2003, the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS® awarded him with the Commercial REALTOR® of the Year Award and he was also the recipient of the Legislative Grassroots REALTOR® of the Year by the South Carolina Association of REALTORS® in 2003.

Mr. Clement has been active in many civic and charitable organizations, including the Historic Charleston Foundation, the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Charleston Museum, the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Coastal Carolina Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the First Scots Presbyterian Church.

An avid hunter and conservationist, Mr. Clement is restoring 1,000 acres of land known as Willingham Plantation in Allendale, S.C. He has enrolled the plantation in a unique wetlands restoration program, bringing back indigenous plants and wildlife. Mr. Clement resides in the historic district of Charleston with his wife Carol and their four children, Chip, Coleman, Helen and Lebby.

Stuart Coleman

Stuart Coleman is a partner in the firm and heads up the development division of CC&T.  Since joining CC&T in 2002, he has been responsible for close to $1 billion in transactions and projects.  Stuart focuses on infill projects on the Charleston Peninsula and has worked on some of the largest land redevelopments in our area.

Stuart is working on a number of development projects for CC&T.  Midtown is the redevelopment of a 4.3 acre block located on King Street in Downtown Charleston.  The site currently houses the Hyatt Historic District, a parking deck, five commercial buildings and Elan Midtown, a multi-family project.

Stuart received an undergraduate degree in History from Sewanee.  Stuart is the Coastal Vice Chair of the Urban Land Institute and was a founding member of the Urban Land Institute’s Coastal Transit Institute, as well as other civic organizations.

Joseph Tecklenburg

Joseph is a Wofford graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina. Joseph has worked in the public and private sectors. Joseph has been with Clement, Crawford & Thornhill since June 2014 and specializes in leasing office and warehouse space and sales of office, warehouse, and vacant land throughout the tri-county area. Rex Riley

Rex joined Clement, Crawford & Thornhill, Inc. in 2015 with his main focus being on tenant representation and leasing in the new Shipyard Creek waterfront entertainment / fresh food market development. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Rex is also an active member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, a member of the Country Club of Charleston, and an active volunteer for First Tee of Greater Charleston, an organization that introduces young people to the sport of golf.

Rex received a bachelor’s degree in History from Drew University in 2009. He was a member of the varsity lacrosse team from 2006-2009, successful conference champions in 2008. An avid golfer, Rex played professionally on the mini tours from 2010-2015, and in his spare time still enjoys golfing, playing guitar, and raising his one and half year old son, Ford, with wife, Caroline.

Robert Sullivan

Robert Sullivan is from Charlottesville, Virginia. Robert was an avid snow skier growing up, which prompted him to go west to attend the University of Montana, Missoula where he majored in Business Marketing with a minor in Communications. After graduating, he got involved in residential property leasing, management and HOA management. Robert transitioned to commercial brokerage practicing for over 7 years before moving to CC&T as President of Property Management. In his current role he is tasked with growing the 3rd party commercial management, along with continuing with his brokerage practice.

In his free time you’ll find Robert on his boat, surfboard, shooting sporting clays, and playing golf.
