Shipyard is a 100 acre site located on the Upper Peninsula near the border of the City of Charleston and the City of North Charleston. The development team is comprised of Branch Properties of Atlanta and CC&T Real Estate Services with funding provided by Lubert-Adler of Philadelphia.

Shipyard history lies in its function as a dominant key in transporting goods over the centuries, and has been carefully and cautiously planned to extend its uses into a thriving future. An exit off of Interstate 26 is under construction and will land on the site, creating unparalleled accessibility to a waterfront destination celebrating both Charleston’s heritage as well as the revitalization of lands that have served the area for generations over. The exit is expected to be completed in March 2020. The first phase of development will be delivered at the same time and will include retail, entertainment and office uses.
